The 1978-80 alternator has a built in regulator which some Z owners like to convert over to in order to simplify things & get rid of the voltage regulator. The alternator pictured is a Hitachi and is typically what we stock but because these are remans, the core can change. If you must have a Hitachi please contact us to check stock. No core required*.
