Automec’s Silicone Brake Fluid repels moisture so, unlike standardpolyglycol brake fluid, it never needs changing. Rust and corrosion areinhibited because moisture is kept out of the system and the highboiling point of 260 degrees C is maintained throughout the life of theproduct therefore ensuring consistent, safe performance. In addition,unlike glycol, silicone will not catch fire easily and will not damageyour paintwork should any accidental spillage occur.

Made in the USA and used exclusively by the US Military in theirlight vehicles, Silicone Brake Fluid conforms to the US DOT5 standard aswell as the US Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 116 and US MilitaryStandard MIL B46176.
